Carter Hanson is a board-certified Physician Assistant working in outpatient primary care medicine. He believes in helping patients optimize their health through preventative medicine and individualized care. Carter is an Austin native, and he enjoys being able to serve his local community through offering evidence-based medical care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on exercise science. Carter later graduated with honors at the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth where he completes his PA medical training. During his time in Fort Worth, he developed a love for practicing internal medicine. He is excited to be joining Thrive Medical Clinic and be back in his hometown.
In his free time, he enjoys paddle-boarding, exercising, cheering on the longhorns, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends (and Remy, his cat).
